A joint venture of American Crystal Sugar Company of Moorhead, Minnesota.; Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative of Wahpeton, North Dakota; Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative of Renville, Minnesota.; and Michigan Sugar Company, Saginaw, Michigan.; we represent more than 5,900 growers, who farm some 1 million acres and harvest over 19 million tons of sugar beets each year. Together, our growers produce over half of America's sugar beet co-products, generate over $1 billion in total yearly sales revenue and possess more than $1 billion in total assets.
In addition to marketing products from the growers who own the company, we also market cane molasses produced by the Hawaiian Sugar industry to the U.S. West Coast and have recently signed an agreement with Minnesota Valley Alfalfa Producers to market the alfalfa pellets and meal produced at their Priam, Minnesota facility
